| Policy and Covid-19 updates for ABDO members

Would you like to hear the latest on national and local policy work, including updates on Covid-19 for England? Join ABDO Head of Policy Debbie McGill, Senior Programme Lead: Optical Commissioning Richard Everitt, and Regional Leads for England, Abi Page Richard Rawlinson and Stuart Pell on Thursday 10 December for the first English regional policy meeting.

At the events, Debbie and the regional leads will present and consult on ABDO policy objectives, as well as highlight opportunities available for you to develop. ABDO Head of Policy Debbie McGill says, “This is your chance to meet your regional team, ask questions and have your say. You can also hear directly from Richard Everitt from NHSE on their objectives and how they link with ABDO policy objectives in providing the highest standard of eye health care in England” You can hear from Debbie and the regional leads about ongoing discussions with the Government and work with NHS England. As it looks as if Covid-19 will remain at the top of the agenda for some time to come, ABDO will be asking for your comments on how you are managing on the front line, and updating on any developments, for example delivering and receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
