Bucks, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West – Health and Wellbeing Events
7 December 2021
Please see following regarding a Primary Health and Wellbeing Project:
Dear Colleagues
It gives us the greatest pleasure to inform you that Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (BOB) Integrated Care System were successful in securing funds to run a Primary Care health and wellbeing project. Our bid was the result of a collaboration between colleagues representing General Practice, Dentistry, Optometry, and Community Pharmacy, where we all contributed and shared ideas to develop a bid that reflected Primary Care in BOB.
What does this mean for you?
- If you work in General Practice, Dentistry, Optometry or Community Pharmacy in BOB:
- we would like to ensure you are being supported with your health and wellbeing
- that you are aware of what support is available to you and you know how to access it
How will we do this?
- We are arranging lunch time sessions via Microsoft Teams, where we would like to let you know about:
- existing health and wellbeing offers (local and national) and how you may access them
- what we are doing to understand what health and wellbeing support is required
- the programmes we are developing to support you
- the opportunities that exist, if you are interested in supporting your colleagues, and developing your skills and knowledge in health and wellbeing
- We have colleagues across the BOB attending and you will have the opportunity to ask questions
When will we do this?
We will also record one of the sessions and make it available for those who are unable to attend.
Who should attend?
- This event is aimed at everyone who works in Primary Care in BOB
What is next?
- Decide which day is convenient for you, open the appropriate attachment and add it to your calendar. Alternatively, click on the link for the day/time you wish to attend, and tune in on the day
Thanks
Rosalind Penny – Director of HR & Organisation Development
Andrea Hollister – Primary and Community Care Workforce Programme Director
Darren Morgan – Learning and Development Manager
