Berkshire Vision Raffle

8 October 2022

As a small local charity, Berkshire Vision relies on fundraising and donations to be able to continue to offer our wide range of services to our nearly 1000 members living with sight loss in Berkshire. They want to make sure they can walk alongside every local person living with sight loss, from the tiniest babies to over 100 years old, whenever they need them – whether they are facing loneliness and isolation, don’t know anyone else with sight loss who understands what they’re facing, are struggling to find work, aren’t confident navigating the wide range of assistive technology and resources out there alone, have difficulty getting out to social events, challenges accessing sports adapted for them to be able to take part, or need some help accessing services and benefits.

A simple way to help is to support their raffle.

The Fun Bit

1st Prize: £1000 in John Lewis Vouchers

2nd Prize: Toy Hamper

3rd Prize: Festive Hamper

Tickets are £1 each. All prizes were donated so all of the funds raised go directly to supporting our work supporting blind and partially sighted children and adults in the local area.

The Practicalities

The draw is on Saturday December 10th and we need to get the stubs in a few days before so all stubs, unsold tickets and monies raised must be back with us by Friday December 2nd at the latest.

The Legalities

The raffle does have an official license number LOT000173 which is also printed on the tickets. You may notice there are several charity names on the tickets. This is because the raffle is a joint project between a number of disability charities but each charity keeps what it raises so any funds you raise come directly to Berkshire Vision. Prize winners will be contacted within a few days of the draw via the phone number or email address they give on the stub.

If you are able to sell some tickets for Berkshire Vision, please get in touch with Laura Mitchell and she will arrange to get some to you. Every £1 counts so even if you can’t sell very many, Berkshire Vision would still love to hear from you.

Thank you for your support!
