EeRS – West Berkshire Launch 1st of September

EeRS is an electronic system for referring directly from optometry, bypassing the GP. For patients that have a GP in WEST BERKSHIRE, this service will be via the REGO platform, and is due to go live on the 1st of September. After this date, GPs will be instructed to return any ophthalmology referrals to your practice. If you see patients that have a GP in West Berkshire and have not yet registered with REGO, we would urge you to do so as soon as possible to ensure your patient referrals will not be subject to delays. If you work for a multiple, please check with your support office before signing up to this platform as they will need to check it meets with their Information Governance and Information Security policies. Contact REGO to sign up for your practice: Rego.implementation@necsws.com with the following information: Practice Name, ODS code, practice address, email address and contact number.
