The following workshops are available free of charge to all staff within Optical practices across the BOB area:

 

Kindness In Healthcare- Introduction Workshops

 Suitable for all roles, this 1 hour ‘Kindness into Action’ introduction workshop will help you understand the impact and importance of respect, kindness, positivity and incivility at work.

You’ll gain a better understanding of:

  • Evidence supporting the case for kindness at work
  • Lessons from the front-line of kinder culture change
  • What makes good days at work and not
  • How to speak up more safely

Handling Difficult People Training 

A 1.5 hour session for anyone with a service user facing role, aimed at supporting colleagues to feel more confident in managing difficult service users/public & how to minimise the chances of negative interactions occurring.
