AGM 2024
7 April 2024
The 2024 AGM of Buckinghamshire Local Optical Committee will be at 8.00pm on the evening of 18th April. Like last year, we won’t be holding a physical meeting; instead you will have the opportunity to pose questions, nominate and vote for committee members, and vote for the resolutions, online.
Papers will be posted on this page as they become available, and these will include the AGM notification letter, which contains more information, and which will be emailed to all on our database. Also available will be the: 2023 minutes; 2024 agenda; chair’s report; treasurer’s report; committee nomination papers. Within the agenda, you will find this year’s resolutions and the link to the online voting form.
Elections now take place at every AGM, and this year we will have vacancies for one contractor and two performers. The three present committee members who have served their three-year terms have indicated that they are willing to stand for re-election. Note that only contractors and performers working in Buckinghamshire are eligible to vote.
If you wish to be nominated for a position on the committee and would like more information, please contact the LOC secretary by email on buckslocinfo@gmail.com
7th April 2024 – AGM Update
Notification of this year’s AGM was sent out on 15th March 2024 and we can now advice that by the closing date of 5th April, the number of nominations received for new committee members did not exceed the number of places available, meaning that there will be no requirement for elections this year. However, there is still time to vote for the resolutions and attached is the amended agenda, within which you will find the link to the online voting form. Votes must be received by 8pm on 18th April.
