 | Libby Raison Libby started her Optical career as a Saturday girl at an opticians in Falmouth. After spending 3 years training to be a dispensing optician, Libby moved to Cardiff to study Optometry and qualified in 2007. She joined Cornwall and IoS LOC 12 years ago and is currently secretary and lead commissioner. Having successfully commissioned pathways for OHT, GAT, post-cataract and MECs, Libby continues to work alongside PECCIS and the local CCG. Role: Secretary and lead commissioner. |
 | Lizzy Balistrari Lizzy has been part of the Optics profession for over 15 years, completing her work experience and then becoming a Saturday girl at Specsavers St Austell. In 2012 she graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Optometry. Since then Lizzy has enjoyed a varied career, including work as a High Street Optometrist, Clinical Demonstrator and Assessor at Plymouth University and Committee Member of the Cornwall and IOS LOC. Lizzy is passionate about the profession and has an interest in professional development, she is the LOC CET and Training Officer. Role: Vice-Secretary. |
