PCSE provides support services to GP Practices, Pharmacies, Dentists and Optometrists across England.

For Optometry, PCSE does the following:

• Issue GOS payments
• Handle NHS supplies
• Manage the performers list
• Process CET claims and issue payments

Changes to GOS Claims

PCSE and NHS England have launched a new online system for submitting GOS claims. This was first launched in October 2019 and the new system is designed to replace wastage of paper forms, create easier submission of claims and improving cashflow for practices.

Current paper GOS forms will cease on the 30th September 2020 to encourage practices to move GOS claims online. If online claims are not possible then alternative new style forms will be in operation from the 1st October 2020.
