Derbyshire has been chosen to receive Wellbeing Funding as part of the thank you from NHSE to Opticians/ Dentist and Pharmacists.
All offers are open to any member of a team who works in an Optical practice.
In addition, you have a dedicated Wellbeing Lead- Lesley Parkinson, Wellbeing Guardian for Optical, who can be contacted at derbyshireloc@gmail.com.
She and the rest of the team can provide specialist support/ information, eg can speak at staff training sessions, can organise wellbeing activities for your team or support you to do this.
Counselling services, book clubs, runs etc are possible.
There is access to HR/ Occupational health and any other support you feel you or your team might need.
In addition if you have a team member who might want to support this initiative for your team, group of practices etc please contact Lesley, as there are lots of volunteer roles with training available.
