All routine referrals should be made via the GP

Emergency Referrals – Bournemouth

Patients that need too be seen within 48 hours – EyeEmergency@uhd.nhs.uk

Urgent Referrals (including wet AMD & urgent macular referrals) – eye.unit@nhs.net

Before emailing or sending a px to eye emergency Bournemouth, please telephone 0300 019 6039 (practitioner line), then email findings to EyeEmergency@uhd.nhs.uk

Routine Referrals: Bournemouth have asked all routine referrals to be sent via CHEC or the GP as these require eRS.
