Glaucoma OSCE 09 November 2022 – Last chance to register
Hampshire LOC is delighted to announce a Glaucoma WOPEC OSCE session, hosted with thanks by Boots Opticians in Romsey, on the evening of 9 November 2022 commencing 6pm onwards.
This OSCE is for those who have completed the Level 1 Glaucoma WOPEC module online and are ready to complete the practical WOPEC Level 2 Glaucoma module.
There are 20 places available for this OSCE so it is very much first to reply gets a place. Practitioners practicing within Hampshire will have their fee paid by Hampshire LOC, however if after securing a funded place there is failure to attend, please note the place will be charged at £150.00.
All applicants must have completed the on-line WOPEC Glaucoma Level 1 module at the time of booking. WOPEC codes are available on request from isilk@hampshireloc.org.uk

Recruitment for a telemedicine Optometrist
Primary Eyecare Services (PES) is a provider of high-quality outcomes in and community optometry services. We are the largest collaborative provider of such services in England.
This is an opportunity to work for Primary Eyecare Services. We are recruiting Telemedicine Optometrist(s) to join our team; the role will include providing telemedicine and clinical support to the central hub team.
The employed role will be remote/home-based working. Part-time/flexible working considered which may suit parents and carers.
The induction and contact days will take place in at PES office (Manchester M4 6LN). If you are interested in the role, please apply advising how many days and which days of the week you would be available to work.
Please find the Role Description and Application form attached; appropriate IT will be provided but the minimum requirements outlined below will be mandatory.
- Internet Minimum 60Mbps upload/download
- Reliable and consistent service: Ideally with Ethernet connection or excellent WiFi network
