Primary eyecare Services – OPERA System update
OPERA – Introduction to the ‘My Services’ Application
Primary Eyecare Services are pleased to announce the release of the ‘My Services’ function on OPERA.
The ‘My Services’ dashboard can be found under the ‘General’ tab on the main OPERA landing page.
The dashboard has been created so that at a click of a button, practices can see what services they are signed up to deliver, which practitioners within their practice are accredited to deliver them and on behalf of which CCGs / localities they can deliver the service .
This enables practices to ensure that they have sufficient numbers of practitioners accredited to deliver services in line with their contractual obligations and also gives them the ability to request to participate in, or withdraw from, any service quickly and easily.
OPERA has launched this function in line with an internal update, during which our Directory of Services has been automated.
We would urge all practices to visit their ‘My Services’ page as soon as possible to ensure that the services listed do indeed reflect the services they provide and, if any changes are required, to process the request using the appropriate options on the ‘My Services’ dashboard. When requesting to add a service please be advised that this may take up to 2 working days to be reviewed by our team. In cases where head office approval is required the process may take longer to complete.
N.B. If requesting to withdraw from a service that your practice is currently delivering, please contact hello@referral.support to ensure that patients are managed safely and the appropriate notice period can be served.
Further Support
To support Practices to utilise this function, we have created a dedicated help page in the OPERA help menu, you can view this – My Services
Please use this help page as your first port of call to navigate the ‘My Services’ dashboard. Should you need further assistance after visiting this site, please feel free to contact us on the OPERA help bubble hosted on the OPERA home page.
