The Hampshire LOC AGM taking place on the 05 June 2024 is open to Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS GOS Contractors and associated Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians and Contact Lens Opticians.

The evening will commence with registration and buffet from 18:30 – 19:15. There will also be committee member elections from 19:00 – 19:15 if required.

The AGM will commence at 1915hrs. The outline agenda for the evening is:

  • Chair’s Report
  • Treasurers Report
    • Vote of acceptance
    • Vote on nomination of accounts scrutineers 2024-25
  • Committee election results (if required)
  • LOCSU Report
  • Primary Eyecare Service Report

The AGM will be followed by a Peer Review Low Vision CPD session worth 3 points, facilitated by the LOC Committee.

In addition, we will have exhibitors from Associated Optical, Hampshire Open Sight and the Hampshire Public Health – Smoking Cessation Team.

Committee Nominations

There are vacancies on the management committee for two Contractor and three Performer representatives. Your support for the committee would be greatly appreciated and you can develop new skills along the way.

If you wish to be nominated for a position on the Committee; you should complete the Nomination paper including the nominee details – here  and return to isilk@hampshireloc.org.uk by Monday 13 May 2024.

If you are unable to attend and require a proxy or postal vote for committee elections, acceptance of accounts and accounts scrutineers 2024-25 please email Ian Silk as above, by Monday 13 May 2024.

All papers for the AGM will be sent out on or about 15 May 2024.
