The following hospitals in the SWB group accept wet AMD referrals:

Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre (BMEC), City Hospital, Dudley Road, Birmingham B18 7QH
Sandwell General Hospital, Lyndon West Bromwich West Midlands B71 4HJ

Wet AMD is not an emergency but should be referred, on the same day that you see and diagnose the patient, to a dedicated FAST TRACK Wet AMD clinic where they should be seen within two weeks of referral. Wherever possible you should try to obtain proof of delivery (either by requesting a delivery/read receipt on emails, or by phoning the co-ordinator)

Also note that hospitals on occasions reject wet AMD referrals if the patient’s GP is not in the correct area.
