Important Update: Intermittent Issues with PCSE Online

    Dear colleague,

I’m writing to provide you with an update on the intermittent issues that ophthalmic users have been experiencing when using PCSE Online. First and foremost, I’d like to say sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused practice teams.

I would like to reassure you that whilst users may experience slower than usual performance when using the PCSE Online system we are continuing to receive all claims submitted electronically.

Following the identification of issues last week, we have made several improvements to the PCSE online system, however we are monitoring system performance and will continue to do so until the situation is fully resolved. Going forwards, we will provide a daily email update for practices using PCSE Online on this issue through to its resolution.

Again, I’d like to apologise for the inconvenience that this continued issue is causing. We are committed to resolving this as quickly as possible.

    Karl Johnson
    Operations Director, Payment Services
