We have 4 items for you today:

1. Important information for all practices that receive HES forms from St Albans Children’s Eye Service
   There is a new procedure for submitting these vouchers – please see the ‘printable’ letter, HERE, for further details.

2. Bausch and Lomb recall some contact lens solutions, eye wash and eye lubricants
   The GOC recently sent an email on behalf of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) regarding a Bausch and Lomb recall of certain lots of their contact lens solutions, eye wash and eye lubricants due to issues with the sterilisation.  Although all practitioners should have received this, anyone who missed it can find B+L’s statement HERE. If you have any questions, contact details are also provided on their website. 

3. Optical Manager, DO and other Optical Staff Vacancies
   Due to expansion, J.Oliver Radley Opticians are requiring some additional members of staff to join their team.
