1. Vacancy – Local Professional Network Chair (Local Eye Health Network Chair)

   NHS E&I have issued the following vacancy:

   
   NHS England and NHS Improvement, East of England is seeking to recruit a Local Eye Health Network Chair covering the Essex area, on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2023.

   We are seeking an ethical, highly motivated, dynamic and well-respected member of the Eye Health community who is registered with a relevant professional body and/or regulator with an understanding of the local ophthalmic profession, with the vision and commitment to continue to lead our LEHN.

   This is an incredibly exciting time for eye health and LEHNs are at the centre of leading the development and redesign of services with patients at the centre of our work.

   The successful candidate will be patient focused and fully committed to the values of the NHS, with strong leadership skills, vision, communication and presentational skills. You must be ready to work constructively with a wide range of stakeholders including the public and their representatives, Integrated Care Systems, Health and Wellbeing Boards, the Leadership Academy and Training Board.

   Key aspects of this role;

   ·         working with key stakeholders on developing and delivering local priorities.

   ·         providing strong local clinical leadership.

   ·         supporting the implementation of national frameworks, to provide overall consistency, at a local level.
