1. New Guidance on Self-Isolation
   
   The College of Optometrists have issued a statement advising that the cut to the isolation period for people who test positive for COVID-19, which is now five full days, will apply in primary care settings, HERE.
2. Confirmatory PCR tests suspended for positive lateral flow test results
   Updated UK Health Security Agency guidance can be found HERE regarding the suspension of confirmatory PCR tests for positive lateral flow test results.
3. Webinar: “Living with Charles Bonnet Syndrome”
   The Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) are running a webinar, “Medicine and Me: Living with Charles Bonnet Syndrome” on Monday 14 March 2022, between 6:00pm to 7:30pm (GMT). They say is it is free to book and they have applied for CPD accreditation. Further details and registration can be found HERE. Please note, although they describe the webinar as a “Free, Public Webinar”, in order to register you will have to set up an account with the RSM and go through their purchasing system (at zero cost) to reserve a place. 

4. Interpreting and Translation services for NHS appointments
   
   NHS England & NHS Improvement (NHSE&I) East of England Region have recently agreed to provide interpreting and translation services for NHS appointments, including those in practice. Further information, including the provider details, can be found below.
