Vacancies for Local NHS Contractors and Performers on Hertfordshire Local Optical Committee


Herts LOC always like to welcome new members to increase the diversity of experience, backgrounds and opinions amongst our cohort. The LOC meets quarterly, along with an annual AGM. At these meetings we discuss a wide variety of topics which include the commissioning of local eye care pathways, CCG updates, organising CPD meetings and much more.



We are looking for two new members who are passionate about their profession and are keen to take an active role to help influence positive change. In order to best represent the practitioners of Hertfordshire, we try to maintain a balance of those who work for independents and those who work for multiples, as well as a mix of Contractors and Performers. Currently, we have more committee members from Independents than Multiples, and more Practitioners than Contractors, so we would especially welcome applications from Contractors and/or those working for Multiples.

Please also forward this email to anyone you feel may like to consider joining the committee (or if you think they should!), especially if they are from a Multiple or a Contractor.
