All routine and urgent referrals in Lincolnshire should now be sent via EeRS. You can access the Cinapsis website to do this here.
If you do not have access please follow the previous pathways below.
Emergency Referrals
For same day / following day emergency referral (e.g. retinal detachments, acute angle closure etc) please telephone the oncall ophthalmologist on:

email for supporting documentation: ulh.ophthalmologysecretarieslincoln@nhs.net
Boston Hospital:

Routine Referrals
If you do not have access to Cinapsis you may only do this using your own PRACTICE nhs.net account to keep patient details secure; photographs of referral letters are not allowed as this breaches NHS confidentiality and security guidelines in your NHS contract.
Email referrals to: licb.referrals.lincolnshireeach@nhs.net
Referrals are then triaged by a panel of accredited optometrists either into the Community Optometrist Triage And Treat Service or secondary care.
A copy of the referral should be sent to the patients GP for information only.
