NTWLOC AGM 2021 – SeeAbility hosted a virtual CET event.

NTW LOC hosted a Q&A webinar in May 2020, attracting over 125 attendees.  Differentiation of essential, emergency and urgent eyecare was discussed by the LOC committee, with input from NHS England leads for the North East and North Cumbria, Angela Henderson and Jane Ranns. An update on CUES commissioning and PPE provision was also given. Many questions submitted in advance of the event and asked on the night were answered by the LOC, Angela and Jane. Thank you to everyone that attended.

January 2020 CET Event held at Stadium of Light, Sunderland proved popular with over 140 attendees, thanks to all that attended. Ms. W. Adams, Consultant Neuro-Ophthalmologist gave an update on swollen disc referral. Mr. I. Masri, Lead for Eye Emergency Department and Vitro-retinal Surgeon provided an overview of how SEI will be managing people who attend the Eye Emergency Department in future.
