Joanne Tutt – Joanne is the Vice Chair of Walsall LOC, she is also EeRS Lead and the Website Administrator
Joanne Tutt received her PhD for research into type 2 diabetes management and education in 2015. She continues to support diabetes education and recently presented an education video for iDEAL, a diabetes charity. Joanne interests also include children’s vision, and she is currently working towards her Higher Professional Certificate in Paediatric Eyecare at Cardiff University. Joanne works as an Optometrist in independent optometry practice and as a Specialist Hospital Optometrist at Walsall Manor Hospital.

Reena Anand – Reena is the Walsall LOC Secretary and CPD Officer
Reena Anand is a Clinical Research Optometrist and Clinical Tutor at Aston University. Her research is myopia management, she teaches optometry students of all year groups in various practical clinics. Reena is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and undertook a WOPEC Leaderships Skills course in 2022. She is also an examiner and lecturer for Optom Academy, a private teaching organisation and, she works as a part-time Locum Optometrist at various multiple and independent practices.
